About

Designer, Future Artist

Trained as an architect at the University of Nottingham and Carnegie Mellon University, I’m interested in the human factors in the design of built environment. I believe that architectural design is a version of UX design in the physical world. For me, any type of design needs to learn from other design fields and the rest of the world. And thus any type of designers should consider embracing multiple design paths at some point in their careers. That’s why I prefer calling myself a ‘designer’ instead of ‘architectural designer’.

I’m specifically interested in the adoption of new technologies in design and interdisciplinary
studies. I believe that art and sciences are permanent energy sources of design, and architects need to absorb them to not only design better buildings, but also tell better stories.

I’m not an artist yet but I will be one in the future. Remember to visit again and see what happens!
